what a fun weekend we've had thus far. last night i took corey to the animal collective show at the seaport (ironically, they're playing "who could win a rabbit" at tillie's right now...spooky). he loved it, obviously. we made some new friends (lie), stumbled upon the stoner circle (which nobody invited us to join), and had some drinks at the pier.
prior to the show, however, we had dinner at a vegetarian soul food restaurant down the street called "red bamboo." i love our ethnically diverse neighborhood!

today we've been hanging around brooklyn. i bullied corey into going to target this afternoon. for economical purposes, we walked there...and carried all these groceries a mile and a half home.
